PMS (Pre Menstrual Syndrome) symptoms can include cramping, pain and discomfort, fluid retention, mood swings and emotional changes - often the hormonal changes can feel like a vicious cycle of food cravings and fatigue. Symptoms can often be debilitating and society has a long way to go to accept, understand and embrace women's natural cycles and the effect they have on women's lives and how this affects our engagement in the world, which can often adversely impact social, professional and personal engagement.
Alternative and holistic medicine has much to offer. Sessions are empathetic, compassionate, supportive and dedicated to encouraging self regulation and hormonal balance, developing self care techniques and healing of any inhibiting inherited attitudes towards natural female cycles and menstruation.
